Maejo University Educational Philosophy

Provide education to enhance wisdom in the form of learning from practice integrated with work based on the immortal teachings, “Hard work never kills anyone.” It aims to provide learners with lifelong learning skills, develop old and new skills. There is a way of thinking about entrepreneurship and using digital technology and communication skills. Graduates should be aware of society, culture, and the environment. They should also uphold the relationship between the university and the community according to the position of Maejo University as a "University of Life."

Starting from 2025, a contextualization of the Educational Philosophy for the IEP is as follows:

1. Learning by Doing: Engage students in hands-on activities such as projects, case studies, and group projects to apply theoretical concepts in real-world contexts, enhancing understanding and skills acquisition. These activities progressively increased each year over the 4 year curriculum through (Practical learning=60%+10t)
2. Student Empowerment as Independent, Resilient, and Lifelong Learners with the Motto "Hard Work Never Kills Anyone": Foster a culture where students are encouraged to persist through challenges, viewing setbacks as opportunities for growth. Emphasize the importance of hard work and perseverance in achieving success in any chosen path.
3. Lecturers as Mentors Guiding Students to be Professionals: Take on the role of mentors, providing personalized guidance, feedback, and support to students as they navigate their academic and professional journey. Serve as role models who inspire students to reach their full potential and excel in their chosen field.

ทำไมถึงต้องเรียนเศรษฐศาสตร์ระหว่างประเทศ

1. ใช้การเรียนการสอนระบบ 2 ภาษา (ภาษาไทย และภาษาอังกฤษ)
2. ใช้ระบบการเรียนการสอนแบบ Two-way communication
3. วิธีการเรียนจะเน้นเรียนรู้โดยการปฏิบัติจริง (Learning by doing)
4. อาจารย์ทุกคนจะเน้นการกระตุ้นให้นักศึกษากล้าแสดงออก แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นกับเพื่อนร่วมชั้นเรียน และอาจารย์ผู้สอน
5. ได้ไปทัศนศึกษาทั้งในและต่างประเทศ
6. มีโอกาสเรียนต่อปริญญาโท และทำงานในต่างประเทศ
